Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Product Line - Cost Analyst to drive financial accuracy and profitable growth within the Global Data Center segment. The role intersects Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, focusing on cost Estimating, APQP phase-gate compliance, and rapid sales quotation activity.

The ideal candidate has strong BOM/routing knowledge, ERP/SAP experience, and a continuous-improvement mindset to build standardized tools and mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of engineering experience; finance or costing is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency in costing tools and ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills; willingness to use AI tools.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• APQP governance of cost estimating for NPI in Global Data Center segment.
• Lead and accelerate cost estimates for fast-paced sales quoting activities.
• Conduct rigorous costing reviews to correct BOMs and routings before final estimates.
• Review and challenge estimates to safeguard gross margin and pricing.
• Perform make/buy evaluations and inform sourcing strategy.
• Design, build, and maintain user-friendly cost estimation tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to reflect shop-floor realities.
