Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Racine, Wisconsin is seeking a Cost Analyst to lead cost modeling, optimize HDE products, and support global projects across the product lifecycle. Travel to Lawrenceburg, TN, and Nuevo Laredo, MX will be required for plant start-ups, transfers, and launches.

You will partner with Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to embed cost targets, conduct should-cost analyses, and drive cost-saving initiatives with strong analytical skills and ERP proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 2-3 years of Engineering experience; finance or cost accounting experience a plus.
Knowledge of Modine products and manufacturing processes is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in costing tools and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed cost models for HDE products.
Conduct should-cost analysis and supplier benchmarking.
Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing to integrate cost targets.
Support LAW & NLM operations during plant start-ups and transfers with cost analysis.
Monitor cost variances and implement corrective actions.
Participate in make-vs-buy evaluations and lifecycle cost assessments.
Prepare and present cost reports at milestones to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving programs globally.
Provide on-site support at LAW & NLM with travel up to 10%.
