Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited engineering degree and a PE license or a PhD, with 25+ years of professional engineering experience and direct experience in water infrastructure corrosion control.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience managing independent technical or scientific reviews.
• Proven completion of at least three similar engineering or science review projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical review teams and deliver consolidated findings.
• Knowledge of corrosion standards (e.g., NACE SP0169) is required.
• Experience in corrosion control for buried metallic water pipe systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a virtual kickoff meeting to review project scope and materials.
• Conduct an independent scientific review of documents against industry standards.
• Evaluate soil corrosivity criteria, pipe service life, and life cycle cost estimates.
• Incorporate public comments into the review process and finalize findings.
• Contribute written feedback and recommendations to a consolidated report.
