Corrosion Probe, Inc. is seeking a technical engineer or staff specialist to join our Centerbrook, CT team. The role includes inspection, assessment, and consulting for Water/Wastewater infrastructure with regular fieldwork and report writing.

The position emphasizes hands-on field tasks, technical reporting, and client communication, with occasional national travel and a focus on independent, self-motivated work in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or similar field.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for field inspections (~25%).
• Desire to learn corrosion/protection services.

Responsibilities

• Inspect structures and corrosion protection systems in the field.
• Perform field testing and collect samples as needed.
• Lead multiple projects while managing client expectations.
• Document observations and write technical reports.
• Develop relationships with clients and travel as required.
