Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Senior Corporate Trust Specialist to support the largest institutional clients with end-to-end administrative services, billing, and fee recommendations. You will guide junior staff, ensure accurate setup across systems, review legal documents, and collaborate with legal and compliance teams to finalize provisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5) years relevant experience.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• CCTS Certified Corporate Trust Specialist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve all administrative issues and support client staff.
• Provide guidance to junior staff.
• Service largest clients independently and resolve complex issues.
• Support existing institutional/corporate trust accounts including billing and transactions.
• Submit new business for approval from the new business committee in Corporate Trust.
• Price business based on account structure.
• Disseminate financial information to the EMMA system.
• Ensure accurate setup of issues on all systems and respond to compliance exceptions.
• Review legal documents for operational mechanics.
• Negotiate document provisions with corporate legal and outside counsel.
• Participate in cross-training to learn other Corporate Trust roles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
