Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking Specialized Travel Consultants to work from home in the United States. You will advise and arrange domestic and international business travel for clients, using Sabre GDS, and act as a trusted advisor while upholding travel policies.

Roles include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts, with 24/7 coverage. Ideal candidates have 5 years of travel experience, strong client service skills, and a proven ability to resolve issues

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in travel (preferably business travel) and understanding of fares and ticketing rules for car, air, and hotel.
• Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs.
• Native GDS expertise in Sabre.
• Professional communication (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail.
• Integrity in handling personal traveler information.
• Understanding of the travel industry (business/leisure/airline reservations).
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups).
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel in various complexities for air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Must have GDS experience in Sabre.
• Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, chat, e-mail, and back-office systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor by using travel expertise to offer additional services while adhering to travel policy.
• Work individually and as a team to meet account-specific goals, including customer satisfaction and service metrics.
