Job summary

Amex Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) is seeking a specialized Travel Consultant for a remote, home-based role in the Philippines. You will advise and arrange corporate travel for clients, coordinating domestic and international itineraries across air, rail, and hotels, using GDS systems with training provided.

We value proactive service, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively to meet client goals in a 24/7 Traveler Care environment. Weekend flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the travel industry (preferably corporate travel).
• Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Amadeus).
• Strong client service mindset with proactive anticipation of needs.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and integrity when handling traveler information.
• Background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (individuals and groups).
• Arrange and book domestic and international travel across air, rail, and hotels.
• Use GDSs such as Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, and Galileo (training may be provided).
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, chat, email, and back-office systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor by leveraging travel expertise to upsell services while adhering to travel policy.
• Work independently and in teams to meet business and account-specific goals and metrics.
