mci group is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead corporate events for multiple clients, covering planning through post-event follow-up. You will manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and ensure flawless delivery with a client-first approach, including on-site and remote support as needed.

Based in the United States, this role offers remote work with travel up to 20% for 4–5 day blocks, and a compensation of $70,000–$75,000 annually, depending on experience and skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of event experience.
• Experience in corporate market and multi-client environment preferred.
• Experience drafting and managing event budgets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Event Manager for corporate clients and prioritize effectively.
• Support role for other client events as needed.
• Collaborate with Sourcing on RFPs, negotiations, contracting and management.
• Manage vendor solicitation, RFP process and contracts.
• Coordinate all event logistics in advance, on-site, and post-conference (site, AV, catering, décor, signage).
• Maintain budgets from creation to post-event reconciliation and provide accurate estimates.
• Maintain department files and historical documentation.
