Job summary

Zilli Hospitality Group in Brookfield, WI is seeking an Corporate Event Designer/Event Sales & Design Consultant to own the client journey from inquiry to booking. You will create vivid proposals, articulate budgets, and coordinate with culinary, operations and venue teams to deliver a thoughtful experience.

As an Event Designer you will build a robust pipeline of corporate and nonprofit opportunities, close deals, and grow your book through referrals.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in events, catering, hospitality, or relationship-driven field.
• Proven track record of closing business and growing a book through relationships and referrals.
• Comfort discussing budget and investment directly and confidently.
• Strong organizational skills, managing multiple opportunities at different stages.
• Creative eye for design, food, beverage and experience.
• Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication, including proposals.
• Collaborative mindset across culinary, operations, production and venue teams.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales pipeline tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a pipeline of corporate and nonprofit opportunities from first inquiry to signed contract.
• Respond to and develop qualified event leads.
• Build relationships with prospective clients and grow your book through referrals.
• Lead discovery conversations to uncover purpose, priorities and possibilities.
• Translate conversations into compelling event concepts and proposals.
• Recommend food, beverage, service, rentals, design elements and experiences.
• Present proposals to convey value of the experience.
• Manage your pipeline from first conversation through signed contract.
• Follow up strategically and keep momentum through buying process.
• Navigate budget questions with confidence and maintain accurate sales data.
• Contribute to revenue goals and develop client relationships for referrals.
