Job summary

Legion is seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide legal support across functions. The role focuses on contract review and negotiation, privacy, and data protection, reporting to the General Counsel.

The position involves drafting and negotiating software licensing, SaaS, and vendor agreements, and advising Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations. Remote work is supported with a competitive compensation package including bonus and stock.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
• 2–4 years of legal practice (corporate and/or law firm)
• Strong contract, commercial transaction, and IP knowledge
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in tech/SaaS is a plus but not required
• High integrity and professional conduct

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (software licensing, SaaS, vendor, partnerships)
• Provide legal guidance to Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations
• Assist in developing corporate policies to mitigate legal risk and ensure compliance
• Stay updated on laws and regulations affecting operations
• Collaborate with external counsel on specialized matters and litigation
• Support corporate governance, entity formation, restructuring, and corporate records
• Assist GC and senior leadership on special projects
