Job summary

Carisk Partners is seeking an Entry-Level Corporate Counsel to join its in-house legal team. This remote role in South Carolina targets a recently licensed attorney with about 1–2 years of experience to grow in governance, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

The role supports corporate and transactional matters, entity management, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities to work closely with senior counsel on complex projects.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing.
• 1–2 years of relevant legal experience preferred but not required.
• Interest or experience in corporate law, contracts, governance, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Familiarity with MS Office and legal tech platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized legal files and corporate records.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and corporate documents.
• Support corporate governance activities including board materials and minutes.
• Assist with entity formation, registrations, and annual filings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on corporate matters.
• Assist with due diligence and contract lifecycle management.
• Monitor regulatory deadlines and help implement compliance processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Operations, and other departments.
