Job summary

Experity is hiring a senior Controller to lead the accounting organization in a remote-friendly US role. You will own GAAP reporting, close processes, and internal controls while building a high-performing team.

You'll partner with the CFO on roadmaps, drive standardization, and improve billing and financial systems to support rapid growth. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring 10+ years in accounting leadership in software/healthcare tech. Remote within the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Experience in software/SaaS/healthcare technology or multi-entity environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, and internal controls.
• Experience leading Netsuite ERP or accounting system improvements preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll accounting, fixed assets, revenue accounting, and month-end close.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and improve consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with CFO and cross-functional teams to support customers, billing, invoicing, collections, and reporting.
• Drive process discipline and improve billing/invoicing accuracy.
