Job summary

Talantir is seeking a Controller / VP of Finance to lead the company’s accounting and financial reporting. This hands-on executive is responsible for GL, close processes, revenue recognition, and internal controls while partnering with senior leadership to scale financial infrastructure for growth.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, at least 8 years in corporate accounting, and a track record of leading teams, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA license preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in a corporate accounting role.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
• Private equity–backed company experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle accounting for three legal entities, including GL maintenance.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closes, AP, accruals, AR, revenue, payroll, and related reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidation eliminations.
• Drive ERP implementation and chart of accounts design with management.
