Job summary

Glaukos Corporation seeks a Reimbursement Liaison (Cornea) to act as an expert in reimbursement policies and patient/provider support, ensuring access to Glaukos’ sight-saving technologies. You will educate HCPs, navigate payer requirements, and collaborate across teams to overcome access barriers.

The role requires 8+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals or medical devices with direct reimbursement experience and ~50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field; MBA/MPH preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with specialty pharmaceuticals or surgical devices.
• Minimum of 3 years direct reimbursement/healthcare policy experience.
• Reimbursement experience with physician-administered injectables, CPT or J-codes, and appeals.
• Payer/insurance coverage experience with Medicare, VA/Tricare, commercial and Medicaid plans.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and cover territory, including overnight travel.
• Eyecare experience preferred; strong ethics and regulatory understanding.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on benefit verifications, PA requirements, and patient cost share.
• Collaborate with Patient Support Specialist to remove access barriers.
• Answer questions on coding, payer policy, and approval protocols.
• Advise on copay assistance and patient support programs.
• Guide appeals process for denied or partially paid claims.
• Lead Business Reviews and Claims Reviews for practices.
• Educate on specialty pharmacy, buy & bill options, and reimbursement trends.
• Maintain expertise on regional and national payer landscapes and documentation.
