Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Director of Field Reimbursement to provide strategic leadership for patient access and reimbursement across the U.S. glaucoma and dry eye portfolios. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership with 6+ years guiding field reimbursement teams.
• Experience translating payer policies into actionable reimbursement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Field Reimbursement programs across the U.S. Pharmaceutical Glaucoma and Dry Eye portfolio.
• Develop and execute national reimbursement and patient access strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
• Lead and develop a six-person Field Access Manager team and travel up to 50% for field engagement.
• Establish and maintain SOPs for reimbursement support services (benefits verification, prior authorizations, appeals).
• Serve as an expert on payer requirements and translate complex coverage dynamics for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Brand Management, Market Access, Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, and BU leadership.
