Job summary

Glaukos Corporation in the United States is seeking a Reimbursement Liaison (Cornea) to serve as an expert in reimbursement policies and patient/provider support, ensuring access to Glaukos' sight-saving technologies.

You will educate healthcare professionals on clinical documentation, billing, and approvals, collaborate with the Patient Support Specialist, and help navigate copay assistance, appeals, and claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; MBA or MPH preferred.
• 8+ years in specialty pharmaceuticals or surgical devices.
• Minimum of 3 years direct reimbursement/healthcare policy experience.
• Eyecare experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with potential overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Provides HCPs and staff education on benefit verifications, PA requirements, and patient cost share.
• Collaborates with Patient Support Specialist to identify and remove access barriers for GPS patients.
• Responds to coding, payer policy, and approval protocol questions.
• Offers expertise on copay assistance navigation and buy & bill options.
• Provides education on navigating appeals, denied and partially paid claims.
• Leads business reviews and claims reviews for practices.
• Keeps customers updated on policy changes with approved templates.
