Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a qualified educator to serve as the teacher of record across core content areas and grade levels. You will deliver engaging live lessons via web conferencing, complete LMS course setup, monitor asynchronous student progress, and provide daily feedback to students.

Collaboration with the principal for progress reports and communication with families is essential, along with differentiated instruction and state-standard alignment.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years' experience teaching.
• Capable of growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas and grade levels.
• Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference based on student need.
• Complete course setup for each course within the Learning Management System.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback/grade daily.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with Principal to create Progress Reports of Students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
