Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Conversational AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions using AWS services and LLMs.

You will join the AI Engineering team and collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions, including voice bots, chat bots, and agentic applications. The role offers a remote work option for qualified applicants in the United States.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing Conversational AI and Agentic AI platforms using AWS Bedrock, Lex, and related AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI platforms including voice and chat bots.
• Build and orchestrate Agentic AI applications leveraging Bedrock and AWS SDKs.
• Develop generative AI solutions with tool calling, function calling, and multi-agent workflows.
• Design intents, conversations, prompts, and NLU for strong user experiences.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot AI agents for performance, latency, and cost.
