Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Conversational AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions, including voice and chat bots, powered by AWS and LLMs. You will collaborate with Architects, Cloud Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver AI-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities include building on AWS Lex, Bedrock, and agent core frameworks, implementing multi-agent workflows, and ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiencies across production environments.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience building Conversational AI and Agentic AI platforms using AWS Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, AWS Lex, and related services.
• Experience developing production-grade Generative AI solutions with LLMs, tool calling, and multi-agent workflows.
• Strong experience designing voice/chat bot solutions including intent modeling and NLU concepts.
• Proficient in AWS cloud development (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI platforms including voice and chat bots on AWS.
• Build agentic AI apps using Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and Strands SDK/Framework.
• Develop generative AI and LLM-based apps with tool calling and multi-agent orchestration.
• Design intents, flows, prompts, and NLU for great user experiences.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot AI agents for accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost.
