Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Conversational AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade conversational AI solutions, voice and chat bots, and agentic AI applications powered by AWS services and LLMs. You will collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver innovative AI-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes building production-grade AI platforms with AWS Lex, Bedrock, and multi-agent workflows, plus designing intents, prompts, and NLU

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience building conversational AI and agentic AI platforms.
• Experience with LLM-based applications and tool/function calling.
• Strong experience with voice and chat bot design and NLU.
• Proficient in AWS services and secure AI deployments.
• Production experience monitoring AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI platforms and agents on AWS.
• Build multi-agent AI applications using Bedrock and Strands SDK.
• Develop Generative AI solutions with tool calling and workflows.
• Design intents, prompts, and NLU for effective user experiences.
• Monitor and optimize AI agents for latency, scale, and cost.
