Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Conversational AI Platform Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions powered by AWS services and LLMs. You will work with the AI Engineering team to deliver voice and chat bots and agentic AI applications across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include shaping intents and prompts, building scalable AI platforms, and ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in production.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing Conversational AI platforms with AWS services.
• Experience building Generative AI solutions with Bedrock and LLMs.
• Strong voice and chat bot design, including intent modeling and prompts.
• Strong AWS cloud development experience: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Experience securing enterprise AI apps with guardrails and governance.
• Experience productionizing AI agents and conversational platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy conversational AI platforms using AWS Lex and related tech.
• Build agentic AI applications with Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and AWS SDK.
• Develop Generative AI solutions with tool calling and multi-agent workflows.
• Design intents, prompts, and NLU to optimize user experiences.
• Monitor and optimize AI agents for accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.
