Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager to lead a growing team of engineers delivering integrated electrical and control systems across Life Sciences, Mission Critical, Metals & Mining, Warehousing & Distribution, and CPG/Food & Beverage industries. This is a remote position with an anticipated 50% travel requirement.

Candidates based in AZ, TX, VA, or GA are preferred. You will work with Executive Management, Sales, and Marketing to develop a growth plan, mentor engineers, design

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years in industrial automation/controls integration.
• 3+ years managing and leading a team.
• Proficiency in PLC/SCADA programming (Schneider Electric, AVEVA, Rockwell).
• Experience with instrumentation and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth plans with executive management to drive growth.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical resources.
• Design and implement integrated electrical and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, production, and field service staff.
• Responsible for project budgets and schedules.
• Drive the P&L of the team on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Specify and configure hardware components including instrumentation, PLCs, networks, and panels.
• Design PLC/SCADA networks and generate test procedures.
• Meet with key clients to ensure expectations are met and support growth.
