Job summary

RemoteLeads is seeking a detail-oriented contractor to design realistic accounting scenarios and review AI-generated outputs for GAAP compliance. You will own the general ledger close tasks and provide actionable feedback to improve AI performance.

This fully remote role offers a flexible, self-directed schedule, with weekly payments and project-based engagement. CPA or 3–5+ years of accounting experience is required, and prior hands-on experience with major ERP/GL tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPA or 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on ownership of the general ledger and period-end close.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with accounting tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Excel.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.
• Experience in financial accounting and reporting, bookkeeping/CAS, or AP, AR, and payroll operations.
• Must work as an independent contractor; H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic accounting scenarios including statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and close tasks.
• Review AI-generated accounting outputs for GAAP compliance and accuracy.
• Provide written feedback to improve AI performance on close and reporting tasks.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team.
• Complete a brief sample task if selected during the application process.
