Urrly, Inc. is seeking a Controller to own the accounting function in a private equity-backed software and services company. This remote role partners with the CFO, drives NetSuite configuration, and builds scalable processes as the business grows.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Controller or a strong Senior Accountant ready to assume ownership. You will manage month-end close, GAAP accounting, reconciliations, audits, budgeting, and cash flow planning, with opportunities to expand

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience with close responsibilities.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience and ability to own its usage.
• Strong Excel and GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Run the accounting function as a hands-on department of one: GL, AP/AR, invoicing, collections, payroll accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
• Own monthly and annual close, financial statements, and reliable reporting.
• Serve as NetSuite’s primary in-house accounting owner, handling day-to-day use, troubleshooting, configuration, reporting, and workflow improvements.
• Maintain GAAP accounting, deferred revenue, and prepaids across annual software subscriptions, fixed-price services with milestones, and time-and-materials work.
• Coordinate external auditors and maintain clear supporting schedules, controls, and documentation.
• Guide outsourced implementation partners as acquired businesses move into NetSuite; manage requirements and validate results.
• Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and reporting as capabilities develop.
