Job summary

Trust & Will, a remote-first estate planning platform, seeks a senior Controller to lead accounting operations, ensure compliance, and implement AI-driven workflows. You will oversee month-end closes, audits, and the finance tech stack, partnering with FP&A on cost analysis and strategic planning.

Qualifications

10+ years of accounting experience with 4–5 years in a Controller or leadership role in a high-growth environment.
CPA certification is preferred.
Hands-on experience with AI/automation in accounting workflows.
Experience designing internal controls for automated or AI-assisted processes.
Proficiency in Ramp and Rillet; strong spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

Own accounting operations for Trust & Will and subsidiaries, including month-end close, tax compliance, and payables/receivables.
Develop and maintain internal controls to support scaling and asset protection.
Lead audits and reconciliations with precise detail.
Manage accounting technology stack and integration with FP&A.
Collaborate with CFO on cost analysis and strategic planning.
Oversee vendor relationships and compliance with policies.
