Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Control Systems Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automated control systems for industrial applications. This fully remote role enables you to contribute from your preferred location while collaborating with a global team of engineers.

You will work on advanced control algorithms, PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens), and SCADA/HMI development, focusing on reliability, safety, and efficiency across international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on industrial automation.
• Strong proficiency in programming major PLC platforms and SCADA software.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, and other automation hardware.
• Solid understanding of network protocols used in industrial automation (Ethernet/IP, Profibus).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC programs (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI interfaces for automated processes.
• Configure and commission SCADA systems for remote monitoring and data acquisition.
• Develop and implement advanced control algorithms to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define control system requirements and specifications.
• Perform remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of control systems to minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including P&IDs, functional design specifications, and user manuals.
