Job summary

Willowglen Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to lead PLC/automation projects from design through FAT, site testing, commissioning and handover. This hands-on role requires strong industrial automation experience, with the ability to develop PLC programs, create shop drawings, and coordinate with clients and vendors.

You will work on Schneider Electric Modicon M380/M580 systems, integrate with SCADA/HMI, and ensure safety and quality requirements across rail, oil and gas sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on PLC/automation engineering experience.
• Experience with Safety PLCs and safety-related control systems.
• Experience with PLC programming, detailed design, FAT/SAT, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience with SCADA/HMI and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop, program, configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC and Safety PLC systems.
• Create PLC control logic, sequences, interlocks, alarms, and safety functions.
• Configure PLC hardware, I/O, and industrial networks.
• Prepare shop drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and cable schedules.
• Lead FAT/SAT procedures and support site commissioning.
