Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. seeks a Contracts Manager to lead government and commercial contracting across the Power Conversion and Storage portfolio. The role oversees property management needs, disposition and closeout, and interprets contract terms for complex negotiations.

The SME ensures compliance with regulations and supports long-term strategic planning. The position emphasizes collaboration with commercial teams, customer engagement, and proactive problem solving within the acquisition cycle,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 6 years of government and commercial contract formation and execution.
US Citizenship; this role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.
Experience with government and commercial contract formation and execution.

Responsibilities

Support proposal activities and conduct contract reviews with risk analysis.
Work with commercial teams to clarify contract terms before execution.
Provide guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with terms and regulations.
Develop contracting solutions across acquisition lifecycle.
Assist with flow-down packages for sub-contractors and manage subcontractor relations.
Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/DEARS in subcontracts and contracts.
Maintain government property records and coordinate physical inventory.
Coordinate and respond to audits (DCAA/DCMA) and drive corrective actions.
