Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Contracts Manager SME to provide contract leadership for commercial and government projects within the Power Conversion and Storage portfolio in the United States. You will oversee contract formation, negotiation, and execution while managing government property disposition and the property tracking system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with minimum 6 years' experience in government and commercial contract formation and execution
• US Citizen / This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal activities, including analysis of RFPs and compliance matrices for proposals and execution readiness
• Partner with commercial teams and customers to ensure clear understanding of contract terms and regulations
• Provide guidance to project teams during contract execution to ensure compliance with terms and regulations
• Develop solutions to contracting issues across the acquisition cycle
• Support subcontractors with flow-down packages and manage sub-contractor relationships
• Ensure FAR, DFARS, DEARS and other flow-down requirements are complied with in subcontracts and contracts
• Establish records for government property and maintain the property tracking system
• Perform audits of the property management system and coordinate physical inventory
• Coordinate disposition of property as required and support audits with respect to the property management system
• Coordinate DCAA/DCMA audits and drive corrective actions in response to findings
