Job summary

Celestica seeks a senior legal professional to manage the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and negotiation to issue management and renewal—while mitigating risk and maximizing profitability across U.S. commercial and government agreements.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations and other functions in a remote environment. Translate complex legal advice into practical business guidance, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/EAR/ITAR, and drive strategic contract initiatives that

Qualifications

Significant experience and knowledge of legal concepts, complex commercial contract development, negotiation practices and risk analysis.
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a remote environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with U.S. government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS) is required.

Responsibilities

Draft, negotiate and manage commercial and U.S Government agreements, NDAs, and related contracts.
Provide contractual guidance to business segments with input from functional departments.
Interpret legal advice and translate into business practice.
Balance customer needs with Celestica's risk and profitability.
Integrate contracts management best practices across Celestica worldwide.
Contribute to Corporate Contracts policy.
Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, EAR, ITAR and related requirements.
Evaluate divergent interests of Celestica and customer.
