Job summary

R.W. Mercer Co. seeks an experienced Contract Specialist for a full-time contract position. You will draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts across procurement, legal, finance, and operations to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management, risk identification, contract documentation, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Remote or hybrid work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in contract administration, management, procurement, purchasing, or related field.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and commercial agreements.
• Experience reviewing contracts, statements of work, pricing schedules, vendor agreements, and service arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and administer contracts, agreements, amendments, statements of work, and related documentation.
• Manage contract activities throughout the full lifecycle, from initial request and negotiation through execution, renewal, modification, and closeout.
• Review contract terms, pricing, deliverables, milestones, service requirements, and performance obligations.
• Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
• Support negotiations with vendors, suppliers, clients, contractors, and service providers.
• Monitor contract deadlines, renewal dates, deliverables, obligations, and compliance requirements.
