Job summary

R.W. Mercer Co. seeks an experienced Contract Specialist on a full-time contract basis to support development, review, negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts across procurement, legal, finance, and operations.

You will manage the full lifecycle of contracts, assess risk, ensure compliance, track milestones, and collaborate with internal partners to deliver cost-effective, compliant agreements in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Legal Studies, or a related field.
3+ years of professional experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and commercial agreements.
Experience reviewing contracts, statements of work, pricing schedules, vendor agreements, and service arrangements.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and administer contracts, agreements, amendments, statements of work, and related documentation.
Manage contract activities throughout the full lifecycle, from initial request and negotiation through execution, renewal, modification, and closeout.
Review contract terms, pricing, deliverables, milestones, service requirements, and performance obligations.
Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
Support negotiations with vendors, suppliers, clients, contractors, and service providers.
