R.W. Mercer Co. seeks an experienced Contract Specialist for a full-time engagement to support the development, review, negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts and agreements.

You will collaborate with legal, procurement, finance, operations, and business teams to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in contract administration or procurement.
• Experience reviewing contracts, SOWs, pricing schedules, vendor agreements, or service arrangements.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and handling confidential contractual and financial information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and administer contracts, amendments, SOWs, and related documentation.
• Manage contract lifecycle from initial request to closeout.
• Review terms, pricing, deliverables, milestones, and obligations.
• Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and stakeholders.
• Support negotiations with vendors and clients.
• Monitor deadlines, renewals, and compliance.
• Maintain contract records and approvals.
• Identify risks and compliance concerns.
• Prepare contract summaries and status updates.
• Track performance, changes, and deliverables.
• Assist with RFPs, bids, and procurement documents.
• Coordinate approvals and sign-offs.
• Support modifications, extensions, renewals, terminations.
• Communicate requirements to internal/external partners.
