R.W. Mercer Co. is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to support the development, review, negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts. You will work with procurement, legal, finance, operations, and business teams to ensure contracts are accurate and compliant.

Responsibilities include drafting and managing contracts through the full lifecycle, negotiating terms, and maintaining records while ensuring timely, compliant delivery and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of contract administration or procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management.
• Ability to review contracts and pricing schedules.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with confidentiality of information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with contract management systems preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and administer contracts and related documents.
• Manage contract lifecycle from request to closeout.
• Review terms, pricing, milestones, and service requirements.
• Coordinate with legal, procurement, finance, and stakeholders.
• Support vendor negotiations.
• Monitor deadlines, renewals, and compliance.
• Maintain contract records and approvals.
• Prepare summaries, status updates, and reports.
• Identify risks and elevate issues.
• Assist with RFPs, bids, and procurement docs.
• Ensure signatures and documentation completed.
