Job summary

McGough Construction is seeking a Contract Recruiter to execute recruitment strategies and build talent pipelines for technical roles across the organization. You will partner with the Director, Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to streamline processes, improve candidate experience, and drive recruiting metrics.

The role supports campus recruiting and McGough Internship Program, with hybrid/remote flexibility and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical recruiting or sourcing.
• Experience recruiting within the construction industry.
• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, online recruiting tools, and networking platforms.
• Knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and recruit for multiple positions to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Candidate/talent pool communications, branding and employment.
• Works with TA and Marketing teams to communicate culture and job opportunities.
• Determines hiring needs for each role and discusses with hiring managers.
• Assists in writing job descriptions and market/compensation analysis.
• Conducts initial interviews and coordinates interview process and scheduling.
• Builds relationships within the office network as a trusted partner.
• Oversees onboarding activities with the TA team.
