Job summary

McGough is seeking a Contract Recruiter to drive talent acquisition of technical roles across our organization. The role supports campus recruitment, internship programs, and full-cycle recruiting with a focus on building a strong talent pipeline.

We value relationships, proactive sourcing, and collaboration with the Director of Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to meet staffing goals. Occasional travel and a hybrid/remote work arrangement are offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience in technical recruiting or sourcing.
• Experience recruiting within the construction industry.
• Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, online recruiting tools, professional networking platforms, and job boards.
• Knowledge of creative and innovative sourcing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies with TA and Marketing teams.
• Coordinate sourcing strategies and standard work processes.
• Consult with hiring managers on talent market information, hiring trends and recruiting best practices.
• Assist writing job descriptions and performing market and compensation analysis as needed.
• Conduct candidate screening and coordinate interviews.
• Manage pre-hire activities and onboarding with the TA team.
• Track and report recruiting metrics.
• Oversee recruiter/search firms to ensure best-fit partners.
• Partner with campus recruiters to attract talent from post-secondary schools.
• Support and grow McGough Internship Program.
