OpenKrill is seeking a remote, US-based independent contractor to own the reliability of a 10-bay QNAP NAS and its connection to Dropbox Business. The role requires keeping storage healthy, establishing workflows, securing remote access, and maintaining documentation for continuity.

You will be responsible for permissions review, a secondary backup plan, and ongoing maintenance after initial cleanup, with project-based support as needed.

Qualificações

• Experience building and maintaining business network systems.
• Experience with NAS storage and cloud integration (Dropbox).
• Ability to document work and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Keep the QNAP NAS healthy and configured.
• Establish a workflow between NAS and Dropbox for active projects.
• Provide secure remote access to approved team members for file access.
• Review permissions and administrator access to ensure proper access.
• Create an independent second backup and verify restore capability.
• Document setup, recovery process, and account ownership to avoid single contractor dependency.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting after initial cleanup.
