Job summary

Propio Language Services is seeking remote contract interpreters to join the OnDemand PropioONE platform. You will provide consecutive interpretation and adhere to client protocols and Propio policies, including confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Applicants should submit an English resume, demonstrate ILR 3+ proficiency, and complete required medical terminology assessments along with a background check.

Qualifications

• Resume in English at time of application.
• English proficiency with ILR level 3 or higher (technical proficiency).
• Successful completion of Mockoral interpretation session.
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Follows all Propio L.S. policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge for various clients such as medical, legal, social services, etc.
