Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Contract Specialist to join its legal team. This fully remote role focuses on drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements, including licensing and NDAs, to support operations and ensure contracts are sound, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate holds an LLB with 4+ years of experience, strong contract law and IP knowledge, and proficiency with DocuSign, Teams, and Slack.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and IP rights.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with contract management software and digital collaboration tools.
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor and service agreements.
Ensure contracts align with company policies and business objectives.
Manage the contract lifecycle from creation to termination.
Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Marketing to understand needs.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
Maintain a centralized contract management system.
Provide guidance on contract interpretation and compliance.
Stay updated on relevant contract law developments.
