Job summary

Catface is a YouTube entertainment company seeking a Contract Body Actor to bring characters to life in Minecraft or Roblox. You will perform scripted and improvised actions, follow blocking, and deliver vocal references.

A strong sense of character and narrative storytelling is essential in a fast-paced, creative environment. Expect 0–30 hours per week with sessions typically 9:00 AM–5:30 PM CT, may include after-hours.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years’ experience playing Minecraft.
• Strong improvisation skills and sense of comedic timing.
• Experience using Audacity, Adobe Audition, or similar recording software.
• Ability to learn, replicate, and perform assigned character movements.
• Headphones and a suitable microphone plus high-speed internet are required.
• A computer capable of running modded Minecraft smoothly (NVIDIA card, 16 GB RAM recommended).
• Flexible availability, including notice of 24 hours or less for recording sessions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate characters in-game during recording sessions, performing scripted and improvised actions.
• Follow blocking, choreography, and movement instructions to match tone and pacing.
• Perform vocal reference performances in the style of existing cast members.
• Adapt performances to Catface’s tone, quality, and audience expectations.
• Maintain professionalism during recording sessions.
• Provide weekly availability and prompt attendance to scheduled sessions.
