Job summary

Quilt Software is seeking a part-time Content Specialist to plan, write, and sharpen content across our brand. This role balances creative storytelling with strategic analysis, producing copy for blogs, landing pages, emails, and social posts while ensuring alignment with performance data.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in communications/marketing, 2+ years in content marketing, and experience optimizing content for SEO/GEO/AEO. This remote role offers ~20 hours per week and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, media, or related field.
• 2+ years in content marketing.
• Experience writing content and optimizing for SEO/GEO/AEO.
• Proficiency in content management systems (HubSpot preferred).
• Exposure to performance data and analyzing content marketing metrics.
• Strategic thinker who can adapt and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Strong communicator.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to meet hard deadlines and communicate project status updates.

Responsibilities

• Write copy for blogs, long-form guides, landing pages, emails, and social media captions.
• Follow SEO and GEO/AEO best practices to rank content.
• Build/store assets and monitor content performance in CMS (HubSpot).
• Maintain brand voice and tone across content types.
• Brainstorm ways to increase visibility and improve organic metrics.
• Ideate, execute, and measure content plan performance.
