Newsletter Jobs is seeking a skilled Content Editor to oversee evergreen updates across multiple brands, including operator reviews. You will write, edit, and publish content in WordPress, ensuring brand voice, SEO, and compliance with affiliate standards.

You will manage freelance writers, leverage Claude and automation, follow SEO briefs, and maintain high publishing quality at pace. A three-year track record in web editing and a college degree are preferred, with strong AP style and UX

Qualifications

• Three+ years in web editing, writing, publishing; college degree.
• Excellent written and verbal English; AP style.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Strong eye for layout and on-page UX.
• Gaming/sports betting/online casino content experience preferred.
• WordPress experience preferred.
• Proficiency with AI writing/editing tools (Claude) and content automation platforms.
• Experience briefing/assigning freelance writers; know when human authoring is needed.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and post evergreen content, including operator reviews.
• Maintain brand guidelines and vertical requirements (ex. Casino or sports).
• Ensure compliance with legal/regulatory standards for partner content.
• Apply SEO best practices: keyword integration, meta descriptions, optimized headlines.
• Use CMS to create, edit, and publish content; troubleshoot issues.
• Leverage Claude and automation to speed research, drafting, editing, and SEO optimization, with fact-checking.
• Assign and manage freelance writers; provide clear briefs and feedback.
• Follow SEO briefs; produce content briefs as needed.
• Produce high-quality content quickly; meet deadlines and manage workload.
• Build and edit webpages with a UX-first mindset.
