Job summary

Siege Media, a growing remote-first GEO agency in the United States, is hiring a full-time Content Editor to help us deliver exceptional content for our world-class clients. The role focuses on final quality checks, SEO alignment, and editorial coaching in a fully remote environment.

You will review and polish client copy, ensure brand voice and reader readability, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate with writers, designers, and managers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in content editing, digital publishing, journalism, content marketing, or PR
• Exceptional attention to detail with AP style
• Experience editing and optimizing digital content (long-form guides, thought leadership, SEO-driven articles)
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and organic growth
• Experience editing PR content (press releases, media pitches, expert commentary)
• Ability to adapt tone and structure to audience and client needs
• Strong project management and ability to juggle multiple deadlines
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication
• Experience in an agency environment (3-5 years)

Responsibilities

• Approve client copy from strategy and quality standpoint
• Ensure copy aligns with client strategy, brand voice, tone, and goals
• QA copy for reader readability and structure
• Ensure on-page SEO/GEO best practices; keywords, internal links, meta tags
• Fact-check names, stats, dates, sources
• Provide constructive editorial feedback to writers
• Coordinate with managers, designers, and writers on gaps and improvements
• Manage and improve AI editing tool Grammarly usage
• Support AI enhancements in Siege Learning & Development
• Meet deadlines while maintaining utilization goals
• Review Digital PR assets and ensure journalist expectations
• Review design direction to complement content
• Provide editorial coaching to writers
• Manage multiple deadlines and projects
