Job summary

Flodesk is seeking a Content Creator & Social Lead to own our presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads. You’ll produce and star in short‑form content that resonates with small‑business owners and digital entrepreneurs, shaping the brand voice across platforms.

You will collaborate with executives and marketing to translate product narratives into educational, engaging content that drives growth, engagement, and conversions while staying ahead of trends and platform updates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Comfortable being on camera and telling stories that feel natural and compelling.
• Ability to translate big ideas and product concepts into content people actually want to watch and share.
• Deep understanding of what works on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads and how to adapt brand voice accordingly.
• Highly collaborative and energized by working closely with executives, creatives, and cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in the culture of creators, small‑business owners, and digital entrepreneurs.
• Basic video editing and content production skills (CapCut, Premiere Rush, Canva).
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, remote‑first, startup environment where creativity and autonomy are highly valued.
• Enjoys traveling to conferences, off‑sites, and in‑person events.

Responsibilities

• Grow Flodesk’s social presence on Instagram, TikTok, and Threads with short‑form video and creator‑first trends.
• Create and, when appropriate, star in platform‑native content reflecting the brand voice for small‑business owners and digital entrepreneurs.
• Foster real‑time connection and community growth through conversation, comments, and DMs.
• Translate product narratives into clear, engaging content that educates, inspires, and converts.
• Develop content with product marketing and brand teams for feature launches and tutorials.
• Coordinate with partners and influencers for co‑creation campaigns.
• Track performance and optimize reach, engagement, and business impact using analytics tools.
• Stay ahead of social trends and platform updates to keep content relevant.
