Job summary

Peak Credit Union is seeking an experienced Consumer Loan Underwriter to support auto, secured and unsecured loan products. You will analyze applications, credit reports, and collateral to make funding decisions within policy and regulatory guidelines.

This remote role is open to candidates in Washington or Oregon, with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekend shifts. The posted pay targets $68,992 to $78,400 annually, with incentives available in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• Proficient in credit scoring models and underwriting guidelines.
• Knowledge of credit union policies and procedures.
• Familiar with Fair Lending and regulatory standards.
• Ability to analyze loan documentation and make lending decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan applications, credit reports, collateral, and financials to fund loans per policy.
• Approve/deny loan decisions within authority and communicate outcomes.
• Maintain relationships with dealer and merchant partners.
• Serve as a knowledge resource on loan products and processes.
• Keep up to date with lending criteria and regulatory changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
