Job summary

Pacific Service Credit Union in Concord, CA seeks an experienced Funder to independently fund direct and indirect consumer-loan transactions. You will review documents, ensure accuracy, and coordinate with members, dealers, and staff to meet funding timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• 3–5 years of consumer-lending or loan-funding experience.
• Advanced knowledge of consumer-loan documentation, funding controls, collateral requirements, and lending calculations.
• Proficient with loan origination, core, and document systems.
• Ability to coach peers and document processes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Fund approved direct and indirect consumer loan applications accurately.
• Review loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and underwriting compliance.
• Confirm stipulations are satisfied; obtain corrections as needed.
• Prepare and maintain loan documentation and system records; data entry and funding steps.
• Communicate funding status and next steps with members, dealers, and internal partners.
• Apply mathematical concepts to validate payment details and financing terms.
• Open new member accounts to support funded loans and complete identity-verification requirements.
• Respond to inquiries and follow up with members and dealers while maintaining service quality.
• Identify opportunities to refer credit union products and services to members.
• Protect member information and comply with BSA, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act and related policies.
• Support with day-to-day activities, assigned projects, and process improvements.
