SouthState Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Loan Closer to own the closing process for a range of consumer loan products across our footprint. The role partners with Lending staff, Closing Agents and Dealers to ensure timely, accurate closings in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing closing documents with LaserPro, reviewing HMDA, flood, title, and settlement statements, initiating wires and payments, and maintaining SLA adherence to

Qualificações

• High school diploma; 1-3 years consumer loan documentation experience.
• Experience with real estate closing transactions is preferred.
• Proficiency with LaserPro and DecisionPro preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process consumer loan closing requests including HELOCs, TRID, and related loan types.
• Review and ensure due diligence: loan approval docs, HMDA eligibility, flood determinations, title work, insurance, and HUD/closing statements.
• Prepare closing documents in LaserPro and deliver to Closing Agent/Dealer/Lender; review settlement statements.
• Initiate wires, ACH payments, deposits, or official checks to fund closings; monitor workflow to meet SLAs.
