Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP seeks a Consumer Litigation Counsel (General Litigation or Labor Employment Litigation preferred) with single plaintiff litigation experience. FCRA exposure adds value.

This is a remote position, with optional in-office availability depending on location. You will manage high-volume single plaintiff cases, draft motions, negotiate settlements, and prepare for trial, collaborating with senior attorneys.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably single plaintiff work.
• FCRA litigation experience and/or other consumer litigation experience preferred.
• Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
• Strong work ethic and ability to drive cases to resolution.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume single plaintiff consumer litigation cases, working directly with opposing counsel.
• Draft motions and pleadings, negotiate settlements, and handle court appearances.
• Prepare the case for trial and coordinate with senior attorneys on strategy and management.
• Maintain substantive client contact and contribute to case strategy throughout the matter.
