Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking an experienced Consumer Litigation Counsel to manage high-volume single plaintiff consumer cases. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior attorneys, drafting motions, and strategic case management in a flexible, non-partnership track, full-time setting.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of general litigation experience, plus FCRA or consumer litigation exposure, top-tier firm experience, and strong analytic, verbal, and writing skills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably single plaintiff work.
• Fair Credit Reporting Act litigation experience and/or other consumer litigation experience preferred.
• Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
• Strong work ethic and ability to drive cases to resolution.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage high volume single plaintiff consumer litigation cases, working directly with opposing counsel, drafting motions and pleadings, negotiating settlement, handling court appearances, and preparing the case for trial.
• Substantive client contact and significant involvement in case strategy and management.
• Non-partnership track role; full-time with a predictable schedule that allows for work-life integration.
