Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP is seeking a Consumer Litigation Counsel (General Litigation or Labor Employment focus) with single plaintiff experience. The role is remote but may offer access to a local office based on location, primarily in Florida.

You will work within the Litigation/Labor & Employment practices on high-volume, single plaintiff cases and interact directly with opposing counsel while managing motions, settlements, and trial readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of general litigation experience, preferably single plaintiff work.
• Fair Credit Reporting Act litigation experience and/or other consumer litigation experience preferred.
• Top law firm experience, or a combination of law firm and in-house experience.
• Strong work ethic and ability to drive cases to resolution.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Analytical skills, and verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage high volume single plaintiff consumer litigation cases, working directly with opposing counsel and drafting motions and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements, handling court appearances, and preparing the case for trial.
• Substantive client contact and significant involvement in case strategy and management.
• Contribute to overall case management and workflow to maintain a predictable schedule.
